Par value has no relation to the listing price of the share. Par value is the minimum that the share can ever be offered for. The par value in IPOs is often the smallest denomination possible. For example, with GMV, the par value started out at 0.001 (the smallest denomination possible) and then moved to 0.018 after the consolidation. Basically, don't worry about it.
