Appointing chairman is quite normal practice. You are simply explicitly instructing him/her to vote as you indicate. Any deviation from this would imply ASIC need to get involved and for sure they would...in addition sending your FOR vote to PNN or LINK would make no difference, any director holding back votes would also fall foul of ASIC and be heavily impacted
