The nickel spot and now the NPI prices have been looking decided ugly recently. Timber7 pointed this out and I actually took some profits on my sub 0.74c purchases when it was above 81c. I only cut my VERY overweight holdings by ~15% so not huge.
Anyway yesterday's and today's strength in an otherwise negative nickel market does make me think something is afoot from institutional purchases. Though volumes are still low so who knows.....
Either way I'm still very overweight in NIC and am hoping to ride it to $1.10 and beyond. While I am hopeful, I do expect I'll need to stay patient. If it drops into the low 70s I'll buy more.
