Just where is accountability in FMS?
This change of name has nothing to do with the future - it is all about burying the past IMHO.
Reasoning claims change of name is to reflect company direction to go mining.
Doesn't the name Flinders Mines, reflect a company engaged in mining?
And the objective has not suddenly changed - it has always been to get PIOP into production.
A name change does not get shovels into the ground!
They just want to bury the past - a past which reflects very poorly on previous boards of Flinders, where their actions caused its own shareholders to take the company to the Takeovers Panel.
Why do they bother with the excuses - just be upfront about it.

Interestingly, it needs a Special Resolution.
So 75% Yes vote is required - of s/h who actually vote.
So they are almost there, because Todd must have agreed already.
So only need about another 15% ????
And easier than that, because many s/h will not vote, so they will need less than 15% extra.
