It may be beneficial or it may not. The DRX Board don't seem to be able to disclose what those financial benefits will be. As I've said before if you have abundant sand and multiple logistical options what's the point of wasting shareholders $ on this ? The answer appears to be that the Sibelco/Ilwhella bullies don't want anyone else to play in the sand pit.
The issue for the MLM smaller shareholders is not the concept of consolidation necessarily but the gross inadequacy of the deal.
And if you think the bullies won't screw over the DRX smaller shareholders in due course good luck with your investment.
