Come on, let’s try a bit of honesty here.

First, let’s call it what it is: a complete 180 from the strategy they’ve been pushing for years. The deal terms (we know of - one can only imagine the ones that haven't been disclosed are even worse) are nothing special for Galan, and they’re now heading down a path that’s full of unknowns.

This new technique hasn’t been proven, and there are enough grey areas that no one can seriously claim the project is “derisked”.

Sure, they cut capex, but only by increasing technical risk by abandoning the conventional process.

And let’s admit one thing: you reap what you sow. This management team’s track record is nothing short of poor: delays, mixed messaging, failure to meet deadlines, etc. If people have developed biases, management only has themselves to blame.
