Agree on the manipulation, but Galan leadership have been completely naive and at the mercy of it. It looks like wash trading, which is illegal elsewhere but obviously not regulated on the ASX. Buying and selling the same stock with different accounts, driving down with incremental selling, and pushing the occaissonal narrative to get people to panic sell. Best antidote to this is buyers, but there seems to be no discernable bottom to this thing.
