STA is in suspension trying to get their operations up to nameplate production. Unfortunately I think it will go into receivership - and I say unfortunately as I have a reasonable amount of exposure which I will be having to write off.
The sale of the Tanzanian asset is to repay debt which pretty much brings the hammer down on the company.
Apologies for discussing another stock but I think it's worth clearing up. Shenghe should be happy with the purchase.
On PEK - have been a holder for longer than I can remember and like most, have been pretty annoyed with the way the company has been managed. I think my most critical take on management was doing the CR straight after being granted the SML - they could have let the SP rise a reasonable amount and then raise the same amount with less dilution... but hey, what do we know, we're just retail smucks that get left in the dark and then informed when it's a done deal.
