There is no such thing as no reason for anything that happens with a share price (or anything else in this world)

There are only reasons that you (and us) do not understand. However, in this case, many here understand several things:

significant price rise this past week and before present financial figures are released was not realistic
therefore, relying on this stock for successful day trading was also unrealistic
PSF will undergo a major re-rate
timing is everything in trading
less so in investing
and most importantly, the big money that moves share price, are primarily investors, so that your strategy must be aware of their tactics, which often works against day trading, like forcing stops for their further accumulation, and stacking up sell depth to insight fear.
