The way i read this is that the rights expire in 7 years but will vest at any point within this period where one of the vesting events occurs. So if we hit $1 in a couple of weeks as per your hope / dream, they will get their shares.
The SP will want to be a great deal higher than $1 by the 15th July, for me to be voting in favour, that is for certain. I do however feel that there is is a very real possibility this could occur; fingers crossed.
