I have to confess that I didnt read the ann. carefully enough, because on a re-read I found they DID explain their reasons for the consolidation...
Soon as I read "consolidation" the blood pressure & hackles rose & sanity went out the widow, lol, for historical reasons & experiences we both share...
Just maybe they have an ace up their sleeve. Just maybe they have unannounced drilling results they are sitting on, that may kick the sp up before the meeting...We dont know how far advanced they are in negotiations re off-take or finance...
An exploration success plus announcement of an off-take agreement should boost the sp up to 20c+..... which could happen any time. Or it could not, sigh. But now is not the time to sell out in this uncertain market. I'm hanging in to see what happens as the meeting approaches...
I rang a friendly broker for his view on the consolidation.
He conceded my fears were valid, but also could see merit in consolidating.... so there you are. i was possibly going off half-cocked and panicking as usual.
