Thanks for your passionate response Eyeknow. I am posting here so I can get different perspectives, which clearly you're happy to share. So thank you.
I won't go through each point again, but do have some question marks about your 'defence' in several points. For example, do you really expect a capital raising to be done at an above market price of 2c, which is what I used when looking at the dilutive impact of a $5m CR? You should know better. Even if the overall market rallies it is unlikely HCG will because everyone knows the CR is on the way.
I've also followed enough of these types of companies over the years to have reached the conclusion that it is highly unlikely that the IP will be commercialised as quickly as people may want to believe. Trust me, I'd love to have it come online ASAP as I hold a swag of shares and am only interested in it going up, but I also want to be realistic in my expectations. I hope to be proven wrong but I have strong doubts that with the planned expenditure, funds required to develop and market this suite of products that the cash position after the $5m CR will be enough to carry it forward.
Call me a cynic, or whatever you may, but I don't think looking at shares with only my rose tinted glasses on is the most prudent way to go. I appreciate the upside, which is why I own shares, but I also want to understand the downside.
So, again, thanks for your passionate feedback. I'll take that on board and perhaps adjust some of my assumptions, but please let's keep it all in perspective.
