From my perspective I would prefer that Ian has a financial interest.
Imagine the posts on here if Ian had no skin on the line.
Don't forget the options are the equivalent to a cash bonus for Ian and only if he can get the MNM shareprice to perform above the exercisable prices. It also gives him a huge incentive to stay with the company.
Many other companies in the ASX pay huge bonuses that are not linked to shareprice.ie Banks.
