If you go back through the Minemakers ASX records you will see that Mak regularly put this facility in place. For instance they did it at their AGM last year and then renewed in about February or March.  They have generally had this facility available to them, courtesy of shareholders agreeing to it at EGMs for most of the last two or three years. This facility is only available for three months from the time of the shareholders meeting, and then needs renewal as another meeting.
