Very pertinent point which you make. The initial Ann on this matter stated that JG has "stepped down" which would suggest that he is no longer in the job. But it gave no real hint as to whether he had resigned, was asked to resign, or just simply told to leave. The latest announcement suggests that he has "stood aside" and will not leave his post unless he is forced to.

I was involved with a board member removal at MAB a couple of years ago and a full explanation as to the reasons for seeking the removal of this person was given.The person resisting removal was also able to state his case and give reasons as to why he should stay on. (Shareholders did in fact decide to remove him).

The point is before we can vote on the removal resolution a similar procedure as above must be followed. We have to be made aware of the issues involved so that the votes cast, are informed ones.You can't just give somebody "the shove" on the blind. This could even backfire to the point where the resolution is lost. My expectation would be that we will get an explanation, but probably by letter,rather than as a public announcement.i
