    I think overall that it will be a positive move.
    For the last few years MNM has been bumping along the bottom, rudderless and lacking direction.

    I guess they were hoping that if they waited long enough, someone would target the brown coal assets.
    It is always good to have a Plan B (and a Plan C) while Plan A gets some 'steam' up.

    Now they are signalling practical way to make some cash and hopefully cheer-up the share price.

    I don't begrudge Willessee his 5 000 000 shares ...in fact I am encouraged by his optimism in MNM's future.

    What bugs me is the statement ..."The Shares will be issued to Winton Willesee
    or his nominees, which are not related parties of the Company. "

    The statement is then signed by "Winton Willesee, Joint Company Secretary"

    No doubt, Vertigo's enviable grasp of semantics can resolve this apparent conflict...
