ABU has been a disaster and its shareholders are hurting.
I got sucked in by all the positive announcements from the company just like you.
But the icing on the cake for me was that I know 2 miners who have a small claim near ABU's. They had been to the minesite and had seen the visible Gold in the rocks stockpiled to be milled at a later date. They had also been drinking with Darren Holden in Alice Springs and he was touting how good the discovery was, and he was predicting a sp of $4.00! Not 4c!
I also got to meet 2 drillers who had done drilling at the minesite. They were also very confident that ABU would be a huge success. Both the miners and the drillers were super confident in ABU and were buying as many ABU shares as they could afford!
But all of us have been scammed and are disgusted with the demise of ABU and the incompetence of the BOD!
Sure, my investment strategy in a highly speculative stock was very poor. Yet I was so convinced that ABU was going to make good money that I didn't worry about my capital investment in the company being eroded until it was too late.
A tough lesson now learned!
I just hope that DH and the BOD of directors get what they deserve!
And by some miracle I hope that ABU shareholders are able to at least get their money back some time in the future!~
