Modi is a god send for India but the task is massive. the work he did in Gujarat was better than we have seen in 50 years.
However, you can bet that whatever gets to India will be swallowed by corruption despite his efforts. To this day it is so infested with corruption you can get nothing done without a back hander to some official or other. Add to that the fact that religion, superstition and a class system that is alive and well. ... I throw my hands up in despair over India. Every time I visit it astounds me how bad they are....
