IMO they will, jonatb. BGS's share registry is Computershare. It receives the Proxy Forms 1st - either online or by fax or snailmail, and as BGS is their client, it will be up to the BoD to choose whenever they like, to get progressive updates of the trend of votes cast. Seeking these updates though would probably be insignificant for the 1st week or 2 from now - if there are buyers of significant numbers of shares between now and 11am WST 20 March 2017 MINUS 3 business days (to allow for the shares purchased to be registered as held in the buyers' names)
AND
such buyers are doing so in order to increase their votes to vote down WW & HB.
i.e. the net sellers of any shares - in the period I have described above - will lose their right to vote in respect of the net shares they sell. TG.
