FYI the post I have been watching has just been up for 24hrs, had 240 shares and likes, plus 50 comments. Just to compare that with proposals such as emailing all 9000+ schools in Aust, if we assume each fb user has 200 friends (conservative imo. I’m not a big fb user but I have 360) then being shared 240 times puts that post in front of a potential audience of 48000 people. Yes there will be lots of double ups and people not interested, but you can see the power of social networks. Hence why people love fb for marketing these days.
