Lets hope Lankau isn't bailing now so he doesn't have to front responsibility of an unsuccessful arbitration. Given he was part of the push to go that road...perhaps more appropriately put- he's getting a bit nervy that things may well be unfavourable and wants out before the proverbial starts finding its way into the fan blades.
(Pure conjecture and speculation of course)
