While I am not debating his skills, that sortof money is unbelievably stinky for a startup. As others have said there is no need for him at a company like robo. This is fortune 100 cash.
His LinkedIn states "Specialties: Extensive experience in business and academic realms. Innovative, Strategic and Passionate."
Although a bunch of waffle I find it comical he has enough "passion" to happily take 600k p.a. from a fledgling startup and wake up feeling genuine every day.
This needs to be mentioned by someone at the next meeting.
