I’ve got close to the same over several holdings and hear you.
Why would a pre-revenue company (with a 12 month runway of cash), lock up $1.8M at 5% for 3 years?? Seriously!
For me it’s currently a No, but might get through if they add a condition that the company can call the loan in if the cash is needed, and it does so as a first resort over a capital raise.
