Apologies for the typo in my previous post.
The Chairman of PDF stated in the announcement about production of 8,000 litres of milk per cow not the 1100 litres in my previous post.
I am advised that this production is unlikely to be achieved, even with air conditioned barns to house the cattle and the highest grade of feed.
Both of those cost inputs would not generate an increase in profit margin, let alone a profit in reality after costs are taken from the sale of milk. Air conditioned cow barns in Fiji?, doesn't just plain tourism to overseas humans make more sense. At least they pay for there own food if air conditioning is provided..
