I think the total pizza stays the same. Maybe tiny shrinkage. But I believe opportunities increase because company keeps company with better class of shares. As pointed out by many others, its no longer a penny stock. It will be taken more seriously. Of course it's a psychologically motivated act. But I suspect it will prove beneficial.Of course it can be done the other way - as with Apple, and I think Berkshire Hathaway - but for opposite reasons. To make the shares more affordable and hence more attractive.
