Why did Oracle take over Datafox or Acme Packet , they could have developed their own . Why did Oracle takeover Aconex when they had their own construction system ? There are many reasons , time frame being significant. I am sure that the bean counters are very good at what they do within large corporations and what may seem dumb to some will make absolute perfect financial sense to others . IMO
