No one (other than me) is going to avoid a deal simply because of my views on anything. Unless my views make sense to them and so become their views. I don't own what is true. A theory offered essentially stands ready to be shown to be wrong.

I'm a retail shareholder. I try to put together coherent theories to fit the known facts and to ask questions. I only have the resources of a retail shareholder - so others checking my views, asking questions, disagreeing (with reasons - helps). Its possible for there to be more than one theory that fits that facts.

If there is a problem with a theory (note a theory isn't a proof) then any facts that don't fit the narrative can show that - and ultimately isn't that a good way to stress test the soundness of an investment?
