Yes I'm surprised this is being contemplated, but maybe it's considered that this will raise it's profile out of the speculative "penny" stocks category. Whilst corporate financiers argue there is no change to the company through consolidation I have preferred it not be done whilst the company remains able to trade and raise funds when needed, but a significant material step (such as the acquisition of TKSR) provides a reason and mechanism to successfully consolidate without the threat of the share price falling.
The fact that the Chairman holds a fifth of the shares obviously suggests he believes it a positive step forward.
