TNG got a mention in the AFR yesterday.  One of only two Vanadium hopefuls that have been "endorsed" by the government.  The other one being AVL.

"But despite Australia’s vanadium reserves estimated to be the third-largest in the world, the sector makes a negligible contribution globally. With a future need emerging, there is a growing number of vanadium explorers on the ASX keen to play their part. How, or if, the federal government supports them is yet to be determined. There are two listed entities in the vanadium space that have already been announced as potential beneficiaries of financial support to aid them in achieving their objectives. Although this does not free them of operational risk, it does provide a strong foundation from which to launch, given development at scale can be risky and costly."

.....TNG: TNG has its focus on the 100 per cent-owned Mount Peale project north of Alice Springs, included in the ranks of Australia’s critical mineral projects. According to the company, it sits on one of the largest undeveloped vanadium-titanium-iron projects in the world. While yet to receive any funding, the company has obtained a non-binding letter of support from Export Finance Australia (EFA), for up to $300 million in debt funding to support the project. Access to funds is contingent on the company meeting set conditions, so there is still a risk it may receive nothing. Understandably, however, the company is keen to work with the EFA to progress the project and realise the potential of a resource with an estimated mine life of 37 years.
