Consolidation is often bad news, unless the company performs well after the consolidation. Then the price drifts down more than it might have done before consolidation.
But assertions on this thread are wrong when they claim that consolidation engineers a capital loss from the start.
What happens is this, for example. Pre-consolidation you own 10,000 shares, worth a total of $2,000. After consolidation of 1 for 10 you own only 1,000 shares - but they are also worth a total of $2,000. So at that stage there is no loss of capital whatsoever.
To change the subject, I have just watched a video called "The Fight for Greenland". Issued in 2020, it is wonderful insight into Greenland and its people. Put the title into Google together with 'DVD' and you will find suppliers.
