Just thought BBB, what if we vote ‘for’ resolution 1. Shouldn’t we ask word from them that they will use the 15% rule again within this 12 months and that it will more favourable for retail investors?
This move by the ARU board simply is preparing and allowing for them to come back to ARU shareholders without the administration costs. The obvious thing here, is that they have figured out, that under the planned funding package (FID) they will be raising less than 15% from shareholders. Which means they already know structure of how this will unfold… so, given they know, they should be planning for a favourable raise for retail investors rather then suggesting they have no time again.
Are we adding costs to ARU admin, particularly if they need to get this next raise sorted ASAP around the time of FID.
If you agree, rather then wasting the BOD time from Omani letters, could you send the query on our behalf?
Also, if we are serious, why vote yes for tranche 2? Let them raise that money later, with a higher share price… If it’s absolutely necessary, it sounds like they have the FID worked out right down to the final dollar???
