Incentives and share bonuses no matter if SP or EBITDA or Value down or stagnant. It seems the same in other companies too, esp for CEOs in this industry (eg Rodney Cocks - Cronos Australia now Vitura Health, Peter Crock - Cann Group...)
Is it not fair for management to remain tight belted in the hard times, beyond any bailouts, and until the hard times have been paid off?
SH trapped by investing in announcements in recent times by MGC will especially feel disgruntled. This company has milked the money from so many SH, worse than Cann Group. Changing a name like a criminal "rehabilitated'. Well, what's the thing Rodney Cocks got the end of 2023, was a bonus... not only that, but more shares the lower the share price was! Anyone read the fine print on these proposed bonuses by MGC*?
