Disappointing zero announcements on future direction from the new board, just straight to a money grab. Hopefully they come out with something soon rather than silence.

Assume they already have DG/JP approval for this deal to ensure it gets up.

Not sure the options are such a bad deal, if they will save 444K and still not be in the money till the shares reach 8 cents, at which time they would have to pay the 8c to convert to shares
Going to have a think on that one a while
