Looks like this overhaul of management has been on the cards for a while. If you look at the top 20 holders of VMM & LU7 you see all the same players.

Looking at CHK's June 30 Annual report you can see Chunyan Niu was building a massive position in the options. Fabi Diab also held ~2%


Chunyan Niu & Fadi Diab are also a major shareholders of VMM's (as of September 2023), a company where our new CEO is a director.



The largest holder in VMM is also the second largest holder in LU7 (Where Fadi Diab is a director)



Hopefully we can get a "letter to the shareholders" from the new management outlining the direction they want to take the company in and plans for the current gypsium and copper assets.
