Companies need the capacity to raise, without it we could be screwed, those mouth breathers suggesting to vote no clearly have nfi how a publicly listed company works. Imagine company XYZ comes along and says to the BOD, we’ll come on board and are willing to stump up $100mill towards an aggressive drilling campaign but you guys need to show us that you can raise funds going forward, we want to see $20mill…..errrm sorry out halfwit shareholders voted against our raising capacity…..ok cya. Also, don’t discount how important it is to have capacity to raise and stave off a predatory T/O.
