Yeah, Apple started small, but hell even Buffett didn't buy into Apple until 2016.

Not sure what universe BOA = IVZ. BOA has millions of customers and millions of dollars guaranteed revenue and consistent profits. The main risk during the crisis was capital. This is an example of what WB and CM referred to because it fits the value investor approach - buy great profitable businesses when they were cheap, which is what blood on the streets is referring to.

IVZ has no customers and only a dream of revenue, let alone a product. It has multiple layers of risk (sovereign, discovery, production, financing etc etc). WB/CM would never go near IVZ.
