LCL didn't find the Colombian assets.
They brought and consolidated a couple of leases that another couple of companies couldn't get negotiations sorted with local land holders.
They did spend a significant amount of shareholder funds on a deposit that was unlikely to get approval to mine.
Problem with selling now is a couple of more radical leaders in the region are having significant success with their respective economies.
Most likely socialist governments in the region will fall and be replaced with radical pro business ones who would remove all barriers to getting new projects off the ground.
Seems like a big fumble at this time to move a significant gold resource on for when there is significant political change happening in the region.
Not sure if the numbers are correct but it looks like the sale price works out at $3.57 per ounce? plus exploration up side unaccounted for.
