Game on, it seems. Surprisingly perhaps, this came out pretty quick.
Whilst the arguments appear good, one wonders why Mr Thomas is facing the same issue over on EMU.
So, now, holders will either get this in the mail, or email. I do urge holders to consider this and make the effort to vote. How you vote is up to you, my view is clear, I'm for a change. The explanation in the announcement confirms what I had suspected in regard to acquisitions being knocked back. What is interesting is that Cygnet don't have the advisory gig now, so, it potentially leaves Rosham and Jagger free to vote without compromising Cygnet.
I'm assuming most big holders will vote online and avoid any biffo at a meeting. This can have another effect too. Directors get to see the votes as they come in....in most cases, a big swing against them will result in resignation prior to the meeting. This is a cleaner outcome and, as I mentioned in previous posts, allows directors to depart with some dignity and, cleaner employment record, alleviating the necessity of disclosing that they got " fired".
