During more turbulent times, I do like to ensure my seat belt is duly clasped and I deliberately just hang back and let the emotions come out...some are fearful, some are angry, others are a little wait and see and a couple are positive.
When I first read the quarterly I was pleasantly surprised that we hadn't..... well, blown the budget. Yes there was the R&D rebate component but despite that they did come in well below expectations. To see potential dosing in May also was very pleasant and then some exuberance was also good but we know to take that with a pinch of salt and let it actually happen before getting too excited, right?
Then we get the ann of them holding a GM to ratify. Hmmmm is this positive or is this negative. I initially didn't think too much of it but I must admit I got a bit more fearful as the night went on and the phone started lighting up with some concerned friends.
Today was very telling. I was surprised the bottom of the boat didn't fall out totally!.
It could've been a lot worse....
BUT, what does this mean, well of course we gotta wait and see...but the market is holding up. This is a very good sign.
Now we know PAR have certainly progressed in the Clinical space...we have achieved what SO few companies from Aus have managed to do...we have achieved what so few OA companies have managed to do....broach a Phase 3 not only with the US FDA but with several other agencies, some are quite large (Helllooo.... EMA).
Mate...we aren't just going for mere Pain and F....
We are doing Structural and PGIC....how do you feel your life has improved as a patient generally. This PGIC score was BETTER than knee pain.
Why?
It's systemic.
It means it potentially addresses ALL joints, simultaneously - at the same time. We don't have to inject into each and every joint and take risks of infections...we aren't interarticular....we don't have to have needles into us every week, for life.
Mate, ONCE WE STOP TAKING iPPS WE DONT RE GAIN any weight or revert back to our pain levels.
And there is duration of effect.
And did I say anywhere above that it is safe.
Also non addictive.
No this isn't a science lesson, it is a lesson in finance.
I dunno what the chances of actual success here is, I know they are higher now that we are IN a P3. No more dose testing and titration...This is it, we are a go.
Where is @poolboy tell him to get out those sandwiches and start up that training program again, we might be getting closer??
Wrong, that's just a cardboard box above...
I continue to wait patiently ....
Highly spec thoughts here, there is still risk, we still need funding to continue.
