It is standard for ALL ASX COMPANIES to ratify placements . This is done by every ASX company !! It would be negligent of the company not to provide themselves all possible liquidity options even if not required. How would you feel if a black swan event appeared out of nowhere and the external funding was pulled but they were unable to pay their bills because no further shares could be issued as they did not take the prudent step to refresh their share issue capacity. The same people would be screaming about their incompetence for not doing this standard approval. i repeat , Every ASX company does this.,
