Some great quotes, but there are many more promotional gimmickry statements made to trumpet the RTO merger with Melior thankfully binned as it was truely a terrible deal and structure along with the problematic Monto Goondicum Ilmenite Project. No deal a lot better than bad deal and it was a bad deal but was loved by MD SS. Simon almost exclusively championed this merger for over last 4 months yet now distancing himself like as if it almost never happened - a monumental stuff up and near miss to SH value - mlm shareholders dodged a bullet thanks to the Shareholders Action Group SAG. SAG made it very clear on many occasions the merger was not in best interests of shareholders. Thank you SAG if it was not for you self resourced persons the RTO would have happened. The previous Chairman Peter Turnbull and a NED both resigned Christmas Eve as they could see this was likely voted down at the EGM on 7 January which was abandoned. As in majority SH >50% would likely voted against merger the board would have known this weeks in advance. Simon has been CEO/MD since July 2015 so now 3.5 years after a lot funds been spent and not much to show for it come to think of it I can not think of one significant highlight during that time from his control or influence and the recent Melior disaster is classic Simon. Move on nothing to see here! Interesting to see if yet again how more mlm funds been wasted during the December Quarter in the quarterly report due soon - lots admin and corporate expense not much value adding if any on the mlm projects. What a dud..........
