So you consider this to be a credible contrarian view? "this is not good, non exec salaries for this type of business do not need that level...some things looking a bit strange lately"
No mention in that statement of what each non exec director will be paid and how that compares to non executive directors of other companies - and based on that, his conclusion is that "some things looking a bit strange lately".
What looks strange lately?

"Only the positive hypotheticals are accepted as fact"
No, actually only the facts should be accepted as fact. There are no facts in that contrarian view and nothing remotely credible about it.
If most posts are biased to the positives, maybe it's because there are so many positives? If any of the positive posts are based on nonsense, then call them out.

I don't think anyone minds contrarian views - as long as they are credible. Post contrarian views like you have in the past. They promote debate. So far that debate has only reinforced my positive view. I don't mind that sort of debate.
