This resolution will reset the limits which new shares can be issued under listing rules 7.1 and 7.1A. Otherwise, these limits could not be reset until next AGM (last AGM was in June). Maybe there is an equity component to the financing deal. It has always been acknowledged that there may need to be an equity component. Maybe they are just setting up for a possible capital raise should the project need to go on ice for lack of funding.
