As much as nobody likes the SP movement let's take a look at AR1 in relation to CYM. AR1 being our closest competitor having just started production in April.
AR1 timeline reads,
Commence shipping ore from Anthill in Late March and processing ores in April, ore stacking on leach pads late April, First Plating announced on 14th June. AR1 also did a placement in August for $17m. Then recently SP tanked after releasing Glencore partnership.
Now compare to CYM price action since July, almost in a locked step. CYM not the only stock feeling the heat.
Sure everyone is grumpy but there's very few commodities cycling higher recently. Lithium the exception. Gold getting battered. Tech stocks as well. The almighty USD going gangbusters. USDAUD $1.59747 as I write. Copper hanging in there at $3.3985/Lb. Hopefully some good news out of the US inflation numbers on Thursday.
