they will struggle to sugar coat the comparatives and conceal (as they tried at full year) to dress it up with another cash splash. so much you can do until that kitty and war chest is dry! they bought back options, paid special divs....etc....and they need to save the final bullet for the full year which will empty the war chest. what a waste! instead of lining up an acquisition - maybe even platinum? they wither it away to stroke their egos...
they will make roughly half of last years interim result....which means full year = last years half year result, and that weas diaboloical enough...
buyer beware. FUM still leaving in droves, particularly at a % of whats left....FUM likely to be sub $30bn by years end, particularly in constant currency terms! CASH & FX....your ONLY saving grace....but thats all transitory....
