I wouldn't read too much into the timing in relation to news. They can only put up these resolutions at an AGM and it was always scheduled for May (although in the past it has been late May). The options can be issued at any time within 12 months of approval but it looks like they are targeting July 2015 .
The higher the share price is at the time of issue the better for us ... provides motivation for management to get it even higher!!
