i understand yoru frustrations JR.. but in reality every market of every kind big and small is being rigged and bled by insiders trading.. we live ina kleptocracy.. theivery on steroids from the people who allegdly might protect the public from such behaviour.
personally I dont subscribe to the privatization theory, it doesnt stack up to me.. I i were Graham or Geoff... and i dont have family members to take over the company,., what would my exit strategy for retirement be?.. grow the company to a point of take over or merger.. what is the incentive to privatize a company with no succession planning? is there incentive to remain enganged with equity markets if you need capital for growth in TE (assuming the TE govt is unwilling to fund a developmentthat it has vested interest in).. I thin the biggest reason they would want to remain in equity markets is revaluation of the sector and eventually merge with other entities to become a midcap and have our company rerate n that basis.. I think both our board and Colin are very aware of and intending to ride the gold bull market .. that their horizon is probably another 5 to 10 years form now barring any left of field take over event.. these guys are never going to be selling on market.. they are too big and require someone to buy them out.. and from a retirement point of view.. merging into a bigger company would also create the exit pathway for G&G . maybe i have it wrong.. i just dont see them taking it private
