Whilst I agree with you somewhat the NTEPA and TNG are two different entities and operate as so. When I called the NTEPA they said they have provided the company with some information and the remainder will be sent to them within 10 business days, how the company handle this information and release it to the market is up to them. When I called TNG I asked a few straightforward questions because I didn't want to rub them up the wrong way or hear the answer of 'we can't provide you with any information that hasn't been released to the public' so I had to tread carefully. Back to your point about an update, I believe they haven't released anything yet for the simple fact the announcement would probably read something like 'comments have closed, we have received some information and now we have to wait for some more. Please check back in around 10 days'. Just my thoughts. On a side note I did manage to ask the company probably the most important question which is 'was there any major objections to the Draft EIS that would require additional work to be done?' to which the answer was 'we have not received anything at this time'. Make of it what you will but I continue to believe if there was anything major we needed to add to the Draft EIS we would of heard about it.

If TNG and Animal Plant Mineral were really working closely with the NTEPA and NT Govt I would have thought they would have shared all comments as they were received, or at least the serious ones that may require a bit more work...
