    if there isn't a superior offer then AusSuper doesn't have a better option to go for. The SP since the IER is hovering close to the effective $9.15 bid. If there is a higher offer from the current bidders then I guess imo it will be cents more and not dollars more.

    IER has some good details on valuation and scenarios for valuations. which puts the onus on current shareholders to put forward the premise for a want of a higher price.

    LTR crashed some 30% after their offer didn't go through. That would play on minds too on whether that is a more tolerable outcome. The recent big TOs on ASX seem to show that value in Aussie companies gets released by M&A rather than being valued by the market on an ongoing basis: NCM, LTR, ORG come to mind.
