The Board / Management have an opportunity at this meeting to reset market perceptions of VTI.
The market has been providing a clear message for 12 months now.
No one believes they will get to cash flow break even with current funding.
And no one really wants to buy the shares and support the stock price.
So don’t tell us how big the market opportunity is, or explain the tech again, do the following:
- Get the quarterly out the night before the 8am call in Aus
- Make sure cost cutting is at the forefront of everything in the quarterly
- Show clearly we are on path to cash flow break even, with funding to spare
- Explain how we are capturing growth in the large US market
- Detail how we are growing in other international markets
- Given some context as to what is happening in China? Are we making progress?
- Indicate how you are promoting VTI to institutional holders
- Provide some confidence by having directors buy on-market post meeting.
Anything short of that and you really probably should go and work somewhere else.
